DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT MEANS?

ITIL is a widely accepted approach to IT service management (ITSM)

adopted by individuals and organizations around the world. It provides a cohesive set of best practices, drawn from the public and private sectors internationally.

Every year, organizations invest heavily in adopting and adapting ITIL in their business practices and in enhancing their workforce with ITIL qualifications.

Uma extensa pesquisa da AXELOS, envolvendo um grupo diversificado de partes interessadas (+2.000), mostrou consistentemente que o ITIL é fundamental para os negócios, possibilita a transformação e ajuda as organizações a obter valor.

ITIL advocates that IT services align with the needs of the business and support its core processes. The ITIL approach provides guidance to organizations and individuals on how to use IT as a tool to facilitate business change, transformation and growth. ITIL is mapped to ISO 20000 Part 11. This recognizes the way ITIL can be used to meet the established requirements for ISO 20000 certification and the interdependent nature of ITIL. This is the first mapping of this type that the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) has allowed to be part of its standards. ITIL’s ITSM best practice is supported by a certification scheme that allows professionals to demonstrate their skills in adopting and adapting the framework to meet their specific needs. ITIL 4 takes you to a service value system that provides a holistic picture of what it really means to contribute to business value. The focus is now on co-creation of value through the service relationship. The updated framework will focus on facilitating value co-creation through a service value system (SVS). SVS represents how different components and activities can work together, in any type of organization, to facilitate value creation through IT-enabled services.
